On the morning of June 19, Xiajinwen, Party Secretary of Zhenjiang, went to University Town in Dantu District and visited the construction of our new campus. Zhang Ji Jian, Vice President of Jiangsu University, Lu Zhengnan, Dean of Jingjiang College and other responsible person of the construction of new campus also escorted the visit.

At the construction site, Zhang Jijian, Vice President of Jiangsu University introduced the new campus overall plan and construction progress to Party Secretary Xia Jinwen. After that, Party Secretary Xia Jinwen carefully checked the plan and the project effect picture, asking details of the various functional areas in new campus and safety condition, fully affirming the standard, quality, progress of new campus construction. He made three demands for the next construction phase. Firstly, construction of new campus must be of high quality and we must grasp the law, improve efficiency and accelerate the progress. Secondly, materials, inspection and construction progress must be strictly controlled. Risks of quality should be eliminated from the source. Thirdly, we need to plan and promote the construction of supporting life and commercial facilities inside and outside the campus in advance.
