In order to deeply understand the ideological trends of young teachers, listen to the aspirations and needs of young teachers, and enable the growth of young teachers, on May 27th, our college held a Teacher Symposium for the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year in Conference Room 106 of Administrative Building 2. Dean of our college Zhaoxicang, vice president Wangguolin, heads of relevant functional departments and representatives of young teachers attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Fanyanhua, vice president.
At the beginning of the meeting, professor Zhuweixing, put forward several ardent hopes for young teachers in combination with his rich teaching experience and life wisdom. Firstly, all teachers should love their own profession and enter the role of teacher as soon as possible. Secondly, we should strive to improve professional quality and be a qualified teacher. Thirdly, we should make good use of spare time, pursue excellence and be an excellent teacher. Lastly, we need to insist on physical exercise and be an interesting person.
At the symposium, the representatives spoke freely in combination with their post responsibilities, and conducted in-depth exchanges mainly around education and teaching management, scientific research, talent training, disciplines, curriculum, teacher training, school enterprise integration, hardware facilities, etc., and put forward pertinent suggestions on the work of the college, expressing their own vision and hope. After listening to the speeches of young teachers, vice president Wangguolin shared his teaching experience and insights with young teachers.
Dean Zhaoxichang listened carefully to the teachers' speeches and answered relevant questions on the spot. He said that the college attached great importance to the opinions and suggestions of the teachers. After the meeting, relevant department will carefully sort all the opinions out and actively implement them. He also put forward three requirements for young teachers. Firstly, young teachers should have a solid foundation, extensive involvement, and constantly broaden the scope of knowledge; Secondly, young teachers should brave enough to bear hardships, strict in self-discipline; Thirdly, young teachers should improve themselves, and strive to form their own system. Zhaoxichang pointed out that in order to meet the above requirements, we must strictly control the career, teaching and scientific research, properly handle the relationship between teaching and scientific research, work and life, short-term goals and long-term goals, and deeply clarify the importance of learning, planning and moral cultivation.
This Teachers' Symposium, on the one hand, reflects the college's concern for young teachers' urgent, difficult, anxious and hopeful problems. On the other hand, it has built an exchange platform for young teachers, so that young teachers can further clarify the direction of their efforts.
