On April 21st, our college invited Chen Qi, deputy director of the employment guidance and service center of Jiangsu University, to hold a lecture on employment guidance in the 320-conference room of the student activity center. Wu Liping, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president of the college, heads and staff of relevant departments, heads of general Party branches of secondary colleges (departments) and counselors of all graduating classes attended the lecture.

 Combined with his own work experience and research, Chen Qi elaborated from two aspects: the condition of employment dispatch and the employment statistics of graduates. Firstly, he illustrated different types of employment, such as agreement employment, flexible employment, going abroad for higher education, enlistment, etc. Secondly, he explained the common problems such as online signing, employment recommendation form, employment registration card, employment agreement, archives and registered residence dispatching and so on. Finally, he answered the questions raised by the counselors, and suggested counselors should guide the students to get employment first and then choose a career, and serve the graduates with rigorous and realistic, careful and enthusiastic working attitude.

 This lecture is close to the reality and rich in content, which will further promote the employment guidance work of our college graduates and promote the high-quality employment of graduates.
