At the beginning of the "Online School" week, the college held a video conference. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Zong Bojun. Vice President Sun Guo, sophisticated teachers, relevant staff of human resources department and teaching department attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Fang Yuan, the leader of the teaching working group, summarized the class condition in the past week. The overall teaching outcome was good, the platform selection was diversified, the teachers prepared lessons fully, and the students listened carefully. But it was suggested to strengthen the interaction between teachers and students.
Zong Bojun, the Vice President pointed out that all courses have been opened online and covered completely presently. With the transformation of teaching conditions and communication spaces, teachers need to adapt to the new teaching environment, optimize technical methods, refine teaching design, mobilize students' initiative, improve teaching level. The college has set up a “four in one” assisted teaching group, which means college leaders, teaching supervisors, academic teachers and counselors will be a whole part to guarantee the quality of teaching. President Zong also stressed that we should deepen the reform of education, strengthen the construction of specialties, courses and teaching materials, and constantly promote the improvement of professional connotation and curriculum quality.
Vice President Sun Guo made a clear point that the prevention and control of epidemic situation and normal teaching should be carried out with both hands. And all the department should cooperate with each other and solve the problems encountered by teachers and students.
Finally, Wang Zhengming, a teacher representative, said that he had started to compile teaching materials, and shared the problems and solutions encountered in recent online teaching.
This meeting effectively showed the teaching condition in the past period, and put forward suggestions on how to strengthen the teaching of graduate education.
